Heidi J. Long’s practice focuses on complex civil litigation. Heidi spent 15 years with the law firm of Holladay & Chilton. Most recently, she was an Associate General Counsel for the University of Oklahoma leading the litigation department and defending all lawsuits brought against the University. Heidi has defended clients in the areas of employment law, breach of contract and complex business disputes, negligence, and alleged civil rights violations. She has completed intense week-long training on the Federal Acquisition Regulations and has represented government contractors. Heidi is actively involved in activities affecting her family and herself. She served as the Pack Committee Chairperson for Cub Scout Pack 217, worked on the grant review committee for the Susan G. Komen Central and Western Oklahoma Affiliate, and was on the Board of Directors for S.H.O.U.T., a support group for breast cancer survivors under the age of 40. She is a previous recipient of the Oklahoma County Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer award as well as its Pro Bono award. Heidi is also a former Oklahoma County Law Library Trustee. She currently serves on the Committee for Admissions and Grievances for the Western District of Oklahoma. Heidi is admitted to practice before all Oklahoma state courts, the Northern District of Oklahoma, the Western District of Oklahoma, the 10th Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. Supreme Court. She has experience in representing individual and corporate clients in state, federal, and appellate matters.
