Kane is an experienced litigator licensed to practice in Oklahoma and Texas. His practice focuses on commercial litigation, most often in the field of oil and gas. Kane represents operators, non-ops, and landowners, and his energy litigation practice covers a broad range of industry disputes, including oil and gas lease disputes, royalty payment issues, surface damages and pollution disputes, JOA disputes, and quiet-title actions. Kane has a broad range of experience, including regularly practicing before the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, drafting oil and gas leases and other energy industry contracts, asserting creditor’s rights in Bankruptcy, probate and estate administration, collections, eminent domain actions, arbitrations, bad-faith insurance claims, construction disputes, and mineral title examination. As a former petroleum landman, Kane brings years of energy industry experience and knowledge to his practice. Prior to practicing law, Kane worked as a landman on various prospects in Oklahoma and throughout the U.S. in diverse land-related roles. Kane graduated with highest honors from The University of Oklahoma College of Law.
